About the Role:
Right at Home Sefton is seeking dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistants to support a female client living in Southport with a spinal injury. This role involves providing personal care, PEG feeding, and general support throughout the day. You’ll be working block hours, either early mornings into early afternoons or early afternoons into early evenings, with weekend work being a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assisting with PEG feeding, ensuring the client’s nutritional needs are met.
• Supporting with mobility and physical tasks, following a specific care plan.
• Offering companionship and emotional support, promoting the client’s independence and well-being.
• Managing care records and communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and well-organized.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience in complex care, particularly with spinal injuries, is an advantage but not essential.
• A caring and patient nature, with a strong focus on dignity and respect in care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable and flexible, with availability for weekend work.
• Due to the nature of the role and client preferences, this position is open to female applicants only.
• Candidates must live locally to Southport or have access to their own vehicle if not local.
